Writing something new

Aaaaaargh! I have been neglecting my blog shamefully, which I really shouldn't! Sad to say, Princesses Don't Fight in Skirts is still in editing mode, despite being put through ten drafts already. I can't help sitting back and thinking "No, this isn't going to work," "This might be too violent," and various self-destructive thoughts.

While I will definitely publish Princesses Don't Fight in Skirts one day (at least the beginning chapters make me smile, so at least they are of some worth to me), I'm also writing a completely different story--Girl With Flying Weapons. I based this on a tale that was written in 9th century China, with a really cool female protagonist (obviously!) : ) It's written in a genre I don't even know how to name; there's going to be elements of mystery, action, romance, history, but I still don't know what genre it should be! Anyway, I LOVE my story and can't wait to see it finished!
